I've always liked to color characters whose color palettes were mainly comprised of light shades... because I get to sort of blend them into a white background. XD With Near, it's just so easy to do!
I think I was greatly inspired by this gorgeous pic [link] by ~Ri-su and by a momentary identity crisis.
I enjoyed both of them immensely, although, I really preferred the first. xD
I feel bad that I still have journals and deviations I haven't looked at from October in my messages... :< I try to get to them on weekends!

Ah I have a quick question-- I'm hoping to get a wacom intuos tablet for the holidays or my birthday. Are tablets difficult to use/get used to? I really want to improve my coloring, but it gets very tedious with a mouse, lol.
