Mello was helping me get over a particularly frustrating... um... I guess you'd call it artist's block. ='D

Knowing my luck, I probably wrote the katakana for Mello ("Mero") wrong. |D But I really liked how his name looks.

On a slightly relevant note:
Mello ("Mero") is メロ
Near ("Nia") is ニア.
'Anime' is アニメ.

XD LOL. I think that's nifty.

I really like this! I'm particularly drawn towards the katakana in the background - it really jumps off the page like it's glowing. And the lighting on Mello is really nicely done. :D

That is crazy - I've noticed that with the katakana before. =P I guess if you break it down, though, it makes since - ah ni me . Same as ni-ah and me-ro :XD:. *is too fascinated with languages*

Talking to ~nocakeforyou a lot should've had me memorize Matt and Mello's names in katakana.. Ah well. :<
