Artist's Comments

It's fun drawing characters interacting with each other. :love: Sigh, I love Wammy's House. :XD: And I haven't really uploaded anything to my gallery in a while, so I just used the picture I drew for my desktop...I made up colors for Linda. ^^; ...And yes, Mello is apparently eating white chocolate. >_>;

I'm so jealous of people who are able to draw Matt well. 9_9; I always have trouble with him, so he doesn't get a lot of fanart from me. But he has a lot of fans, so it's okay, right? D:

EDIT: It was too big. :< Sorry if it shows up again in your message center!

I love it. You put Linda in the picture. :XD:

Actually, I think you draw Matt well. :) It's your style, certainly, but I don't think he looks wrong. And you've done a great job, again, of capturing all four of them in a snap-shot scene. All of their expressions look wonderfully realistic and candid.

Is it just me, or would Linda actually work well with Near if she had some time to grow up a little into a young woman? :XD: I mean, putting the MxN ship aside . . .

I totally love this :D The colouring just gives off this relaxed vibe-thingy XD The expressions are great, it pictures perfectly how they usually interact with each other! Well, aside from Linda, since she's got a very minor part, she wasn't even in the anime! :P

Oh, good! x3 I was really hoping to keep them in character! And even though Linda was only in one panel, I imagine she's the type of person that would stand up for Near every once in a while. :) Thank you!

Thank you! :)

Out of all the kids in the Wammy's House, Linda and Matt are the only ones that gained any recognition from the fanbase. (Excluding Mello and Near, of course.) And because Linda only had one line and a very small picture in the manga, I've seen her portrayed differently in different fanworks... :XD:

Well, actually now that you mention it, I thought Halle was Linda at first! Come on, Lidner, Linda... There is a similarity, right? :XD:

That's a cool similarity. @_@ That had never occured to me before.

Linda is like my character Nancy. :) Because she's based on the pony-tail lady herding the kids inside in the one Wammy House scene in the manga, I don't actually know her real name. And she has like . . . no dialogue. But I like her anyway. :XD:

Only line --> "Oh. Mr. Roger." I thought it was cute how the girls were clinging on to her arms... At least I think that was her... :XD: Oh yes, I think the name Nancy suits her. :)
